Have you tried to not use the hotkey combo and instead right-click > Lyrics to open the lyrics window? The reason I ask is if that method works, then did you inadvertently re-assign the Alt+Y hotkey combo to something else? Perhaps in Windows or in Winamp's Global Hotkey setup? If so then that may be causing the issue. If not the above, you also indicated that you are using the Alt+Y hotkey combo to show/not show the lyrics plugin window. It's then up to you to decide which to keep. Stop and restart Winamp as you do this and eventually you will locate the "culprit". If I were you, I would try removing/disabling any other 3rd-party authored plugin(s) that might be in conflict with the lyrics plugin. There may be something else you've installed (another 3rd-party authored plugin) that's buggy in your Winamp installation that's conflicting with it and causing the above mentioned behavior. Therefore this leads me to think of 2 things. Well I use that plugin extensively (for the entire time Winamp is running), and I can assure you that there is nothing at all buggy about it and it definitely does not behave that way with me. I just tried lyricsplugin for winamp, but its just popping up for a sec when i press alt + y then vanishes. ![]() And lastly, you can try your hand at editing or creating a new version of the Bento skin to have it do what you want (to include that added Lyrics tab you show in your image). You may like the way the Azenis skin depicted above incorporates the Lyrics Plugin for Winamp into the skin, so perhaps try it and see. You can use another single UI skin that will also incorporate the Lyrics Plugin for Winamp as part of the skin itself, and that skin is the Winamp Azenis 2 - SUI Skin.Do as I do and use the plugin in Bento this way.Ĭlick the below thumbnail image to view full-size.Ībove is the way I do it and I'm perfectly happy/satisfied.But assuming that it is in fact that plugin, then there are 3 options that you can try. When you said "I also use that plug-in", was it the Lyrics Plugin for Winamp I referenced in an earlier post above? You didn't specify. you are talking about customizing the Bento skin to include another lyrics tab (you also linked to that thread above).
